Oh my goodness! This project tickles my fancy! LOL I woke up this am and decided to do the sketch challenge on splitcoaststampers. For more info on that click this link: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=199303 . When I saw the sketch I immediately thought of my new "Like it a Latte" stamp set from Stampin' Up! I used markers to create the different colors on the cocoa stamp. Then, I added the marshmallows, peppermint stick and steam. To create the sentiment, I markered words from different sayings in the set to create my own. For the card base and red insert, I stamped linen in close to cocoa and added some cocoa beans stamped in versamark. I also added some sponging in close to cocoa and then white craft pad. Then, I used my horizontal slot punch to create a space for my ribbon to thread though so I could tie it up. I taped down a package of hot cocoa mix and just slipped in the chocolate covered peppermint stick.
I can't wait to make MORE of these. :)
Seriously! How absolutely adorable is this? Cute cute cute
