Simple Christmas Trio

Yes, I "do" simple sometimes... mostly when I am mass producing and right now that is exactly what I am doing. Amazingly enough, I am not waiting until Christmas Eve to put together some gifts. I am the MASTER procrastinator after all! heehee

The cocoa kit was inspired by Lauren and her great "Music Makeover" template that you can purchase HERE.

Instead of filling the box with a CD case, I simply put two packages of cocoa and 2 mini candy canes in there. It makes the perfect cocoa kit for a couple. :) Again, remember... I am mass producing these so they are SIMPLE! If I started stitching, distressing, coloring and going wild... well... I would have exactly ONE thing made before Christmas and that is just not going to work! LOL This another cute little gift that will not break the bank!
Cost of Cocoa Kit for Two:
$.46 card stock (approx)
$.12 4 copper brads
$.04 tiny strip of patterned paper (yes I did the math LOL)
$.20 two packets of cocoa
$.05 two mini candy canes
-------
$.87 per cocoa kit

The card is super simple are was inspired by Mary Fish. While I am on the topic of the card I need to ask you something! Have you purchased the Curvy Label punch bundle from SU? See the stamp I used with the punch that comes with the bundle? The Merry Christmas one? WHY on earth did they not make the oval the same size as any one of the THREE oval punches that they carry? Ummmm.... hello.... don't they know there are some of us out there that do not like to cut with scissors? I was very annoyed about that! I had to cut that thing out free hand and you know... I just don't like doing that. *vent over*

The treat bag was also inspired by Mary Fish. She used a Top Note die (SU-Sizzix) and scored it in the middle. I am sure it's been done by plenty other stampers, but that is where I saw it, so I am crediting her. :) I added a simple strip of paper along the top and a couple things to decorate the front. I filled a small cello bag with some Life Savers and sandwiched it in between the scored Top Note. While I am on the subject of Lifesavers... wanna know WHY I used Lifesavers instead of the more popular CHOCOLATE? Well... let me tell you... it MATCHES! LMBO! YES, even the candy must match! UNLESS it's hidden in a box or something, then you can whip out the chocolate. :) I'm only kidding (kinda). *wink*
