Sweet Words About Life...

Now that we've teased and tempted you all week long, it's almost time for you to shop for your favorite Brand Spankin' New products from MFT.

But first... it's time for our Die-namics Feature and Pre-Release Pep Rally!

We've taken an in-depth look at this month's Die-namics, while re-visiting the amazing sets being released tonight at 10 PM EST RIGHT HERE in the MFT Boutique.

And while we are at it, how about we make your life even easier with a "cheat sheet" of all that's new?  Head over to the MFT Blog to print out a shopping list.

For my cards today, I used the soon-to-be-released Vertical Greetings II Die-namics and Stamp Set.  The sentiments are all about life and they are sweet as can be!  :)

I used lots of Die-namics on my first card.  The sentiment is stamped on the coordinating Die-namics die.  I added patterned paper accents to the sentiment panel.  I tucked a Squiggle Border behind the main panel.  At the bottom of the card, I added a Fishtail Flag, Mini Doily Circle, and Large Royal Rose with a curled piece of linen thread hanging from it.

I added a couple embellishments: kraft corduroy brads, and a wood flower button with linen thread bow.  Some pierced holes to the left helped to balance out the card.

The second card is super simple!  I added a few small accents, Fishtail Flag, and used the Mini Scallop Edge along the bottom of the panel for a little pop of color against the woodgrain paper.

I lightened up the color palette for the final card and used light browns and yellows.  I accented the card with Fishtail Flags and a heart from Hearts a Plenty.  The main image panel was jazzed up with patterned paper and some stitching.

  11. I like how you used the same papers to create 3 different cards. That first card is really cute with all the extras. I like how several of you are piercing the paper instead of sewing. ksh

  24. With the first card, I love seeing the Large Royal Rose layered over the Mini Doily. I also thought the rows of paper piercing brought in an interesting new dynamic (and, in a way, also repeating some element of the doily).
The stitching on the third card is just immaculate! I have tried to use stitching on my projects before, but never with such a flawless result! ;)
