Sparkling Roses

Oh how I LOVE SCS color challenges. It gets me stamping without having to think too much. That is a GREAT thing! LOL Today, the colors were taken with teal, night of navy and a neutral (I chose whisper white). I had the stamp set, Roses in Winter out on my stamp table this morning, so I went with that set. It was a quick card that I glitzed up with some glitter and iridescent ice embossing powder. The background is stamped in versamark with cheesecloth background stamp and then embossed in iridescent ice embossing powder. The center portion of the roses are outlined with my quickie glue pen and then dusted with dazzling diamonds glitter. The ribbon is fed through a slit cut in the white panel and then is wrapped around the focal panel and tied on the right hand side. The entire front panel is mounted using mounting tape. I prefer to mount the panel in this manner when I have used lots of ribbon. It helps it to stick and does not reveal and "bumpiness" underneath. Thanks to Emily Giovanni for posting the color challenges each Tuesday. To check out all the color challenges on SCS, click here:
