Glittered Spider

I am continuing the Halloween series today. :) No more pink right now, although I think I'll revisit pink later on when I stamp. *snicker*

I started with a pumpkin panel and distressed it with my Tonic paper distresser. Then I distressed a piece of designer paper and adhered it to the pumpkin panel only in the center. After sewing around the perimeter of the piece, I pulled up the edges a little on the designer paper and further distressed it. There is NO ribbon on this card... EEEEK! LOL The black "ric rac" is actually a piece of red tape this cut into the ric rac shape. I laid it down on the patterned paper and heated it a little bit. Then, I poured black glitter (from the recent glitter share) over it and heated again to make sure it was nice and stuck. :) I stamped the spider on a piece of whisper white CS and then punched it out. The sentiment is from AMuse. After distressing the edges of that piece I adhered it to a black punched circle that I was miraculously able to stitch around with a fair amount of accuracy. LOL I finished it off with a couple stacked Prima Sprites and tied a clear button in the center of them that was tucked between the white and black piece of card stock.

Just a reminder I am still taking sign ups for the ribbon share. :)

Have a great day! Go stamp something. :)

  1. Jody this card is adorable, I never liked spiders but this one is too cute to dislike. Might I ask where it is from? :)
