Bind It All Book

Wow, I have been busy today! :) It's been a productive day for me! I am not one of those "save them up and post one a day" type of blogging people. I am all for posting immediately! So... sorry for bombarding you with posts today.

I made this little notebook for a friend who asked for one.

I used Cosmo Cricket Gretel paper for the cover. I covered a 4 X 4 heavy weight coaster with it. I added a little sentiment for the "cover page" and then filled the rest of it with white copy paper squares.

To make the glittered flower:

  • ink chipboard with chalk ink

  • ink chipboard with Versamark

  • dump heat n' stick on it (glue powder)

  • heat lightly

  • dump glitter on top of now sticky glue powder

  • tap off excess

  • (at this point you are covered in glitter)

Stamps: Penny Black sentiment

Paper: Cosmo Cricket Gretel

Ink: dark brown chalk ink, timber brown Stazon, Versamark

Accessories: jumbo copper brad, glitter, heat n' stick, Janome sewing machine, Bind it all, coil,

Bind it all users hint: Instead of cutting a zillion squares of paper each time you want to make a notebook, go buy a ream of paper at Office Depot (or somewhere similar) and have the paper cut at the copy center. I had some paper cut into the following sizes:

  • 3 3/4 X 3 3/4 (for coaster books)

  • 4 1/4 X 5 1/2

  • 2 3/4 X 4 1/2

Just grab a piece of 8 1/2 X 11 and map out exactly how you want your paper cut. I have 3 reams of paper cut and ready to be put into books. Just cut your chipboard to match the sizes for your covers. :) It is a BIG time saver to have the inner pages ready to go.

  13. This is a great book! I want a bind it all and am crossing my fingers that i soon get one. I am the owner of www.DigiScrapDepot.com and also a bind it all addict. I am thinking seriously about creating a website where ppl can upload pictures of their mini albums. or anything related to bind it all product. What do you all think? email me if its a good idea. I think we could really use a site dedicated to this product.
