Mini Candy Jar Treats

Oh my goodness, I am SQUEALING over here! These mini candy jars are SO SO adorable. I was at Michaels the other day buying some of the heart tins and fortunately (or unfortunately) found these little cuties. I took a picture of one of the jars next to a quarter so you could see how small they are. Awwww!

This took me about 5 minutes to make. It is super simple, but there is just so much you can do on a 1 1/4 inch circle. LOL I stamped a heart, a sentiment and added a Swarovski crystal. I filled the candy jar with red and white M&Ms. I adhered the punched circle with some red tape.

The mini candy jars were $19.99 at Michaels. They are on sale this week for $16.99. You get 20 in the box. I photographed it so you would know what to look for if you would like to buy some of them. They are in the wedding favor area on an endcap (near the ribbon).

Think of all the little things you can put in these jars! They are SO cute! LOL They make me want to use my "baby" voice. LOL

Ink: real red, Stazon black

Card Stock: whisper white

Accessories: red tape, Swarovski crystal

  28. I purchased these jars from Michael's for my wedding favors....I love the idea!!! We are going to go with a "Love is Sweet" tagline to tie the candy jars in. However, I am trying to think of a cost effective way to tie in our logo. Stickers are one idea, but may be pricey. I was wondering what type of paint you used to emboss your metal lid? Does it hold up? Thanks for your help!
