Pom Pom YAY!

I created this card for a friend's little girl who recently made the cheerleading squad at her middle school. I was SO glad to finally have a use for this cute Bella stamp I have had for some time.

When my 8 year saw the card I was working on, she said, "oh how cute... a stamping Bella." Awwwww, SO SO cute! I just love her! Both my girls are well versed in the stamping lingo. My daughter Bailey can name several Basic Grey collections by sight and BOTH of my daughters own a 6X6 BG patterned paper pad. Cuuuuuuute! They make me proud. :)

Pompombella is stamped in Palette Noir and colored with Copic markers. The design was pretty simple and was an off-shoot of Amy Rysavy's sketch that I just used for my flower garden ensemble. :) Thanks again for the inspiration, Amy. :) Carole challenged me about 3 months ago to use a never inked Bella stamp, so this one is for you. :) I've actually used 2 un-inked Bellas today so that should fulfill my challenge. Now... where is my prize, Carole? LMBO!

The sentiment stamp is an older one from SU. I actually recently split up a whole bunch of my SU sets (the horror) to categorize them for easier use so I have no idea what set it is from. Apparently when you have thousands of stamps, it is hard to find the one you want. LOL I will revisit my new categorization method at a later time. I went to my "congratulations" drawer and grabbed this one. YAY for being organized. The sentiment was stamped on Bashful Blue and then matted with black. I glue dotted the sentiment over a Heidi Swapp ghost shape star. I LOVE those Heidi Swapp ghost shapes. I am obsessed with them. When you need an embellishment, but nothing you have matches the colors, you are afraid to pull in another "loud" element, or you just want something subtle, they are GREAT!

Stamps: SU sentiment, pompombella

Ink: Palette Noir

Paper: SU patterned paper, basic black, bashful blue, PTI white

Accessories: black brads, Copic markers, Heidi Swapp ghost shape, paper piercer, dimensional glue dots
