Maid for You

Hi all!

I made this card using the newly release Maid for You from MFT. It is a super sassy set with a fun "maid" (aka "dressed up" wife") and some funny sentiments to go with it. Me? I won't be dressing up as a maid anytime soon. TRUST ME... my hubby would NOT want to see that! LMAO REALLY! I think he'll have to settle for a cute card made with this set instead. :)
The feather duster, fluff on the maid dress and slippers were coated with fun flock (used Quickie glue pen as the adhesive). I used 2 different Prima flowers. The white glittered one is from "fanices" and the bigger brown one is from the "Essentials" line.

When I was making this card, it started out with her wearing pink pumps, but as I was coloring the scene, it became necessary for me to change the direction. LOL I was looking for some patterned to match, but couldn't find anything. So... I PRINTED OUT MY OWN! YAY It was quite a feeling of accomplishment. LOL Until now, I had ignored the digi paper craze. I wasn't sure I would be able to figure it out and quite frankly didn't want to deal with it. But after playing with them a little bit, I realized how EASY it is and how FUN it will be to print out papers when I don't have anything in my stash to match what I am working with.

I recently wrote a series of tutorials in the MFT forum on SCS, but I will adding them here as well so you can see the process for yourself.

On this card, I printed black, vertical striped on chocolate paper. Cool huh?

You can find MFT's collection of digital papers HERE.
