NEW from MFT... Pure Innocence!

I am SO excited that today we can announce the BRAND NEW LINE by MFT! :) MFT Presents... Pure Innocence!

This is one of the CUTEST characters I have EVER stamped with! Plain and simple... I am in L-O-V-E! This stamp line with launch on November 4th and there will be FIVE sets to choose from, although I have a feeling you won't want to choose... you'll need them ALL! :)

The entire team will have an MFTeaser for you today! All posts will be up by 10:00 AM EST! Here is a list of all the team members including special guest designer, Melody Rupple.

Teaser Time participants: (some will not have their post up now, so check back at 10:00 AM EST. :)

Jody Morrow (that's me)

I decided to use Balloon Girl to make a Bday Book. I wanted a book to help me remember all my friends birthdays. I started with Mix & Match Chipboard Album pages and adorned the cover with patterned paper and MFT crystals. I covered heavy weight chipboard with patterned paper and die cut letters using my Cuttlebug. They were adhered to a strip of white card stock on my cover. I added the white strip to make them stand out, as they were getting lost on that bright red patterned paper.

Balloon Girl was stamped in Memento black and colored with Copic markers. The grass was colored in with Prismacolor pencils. The "curvy grass" was inspired by Michele Boyer. She makes cute curvy grass and I wanted to try it to. I drew that in freehand, which is a miracle considering I cannot draw a proper stick figure. LMBO!

I adhered patterned paper to chipboard and die cut the letters b-d-a-y-s for the title of my book. I cut all letters out of all patterns so I could have many choices when laying out my word. I adhered the letters to the card stock with Diamond Glaze (just a dab'll do ya!). The flower clip is an embellishment/cover up for a boo boo! I accidentally punched a few extra holes in my cover, so I added a punched piece of paper, which was bothering me, so I covered it up with a clip turned flower embellishment. Just keepin' it real! LOL

I made some inner pages for my book. Here is a peek of the January page. Each page is lined so I can jot down names and dates.

Then, I made some pages to keep info about my friend's likes. I hope it will help me be a better gifter! I plan to fill in all the blanks and have that info on hand for better gift-giving! I only included a couple of these pages per month.

When I showed my daughter, Bailey, my Bday book, she cooed. THAT is her "seal of approval". She followed that up with arms outstretched in a "give me that" kind of way. Sadly... in a NON-proud moment... I walked away giggling. LOL Maybe I'll make her one and give it to her a Christmas present. :) But THIS one... is ALL MINE!

I decorated this little bucket with the sweet new stamp set, Apple for You, Presented by MFT. I just ADORE these stamps. I cannot say that enough. SO SO cute! They make me talk in my high-pitched baby voice. LOL My plan is to give this to a teacher as a thank you. I will fill it with some candy and maybe a gift card. :) The image is stamped in Memento black and colored with Copic markers and paper pieced.

The tag was made with SU punches. I added a sentiment that is included in the set. I tied the tag to the bucket with some twine.

Here, you can see the October Afternoon paper that I stitched together and decorated the can with. I just LOVE October Afternoon paper! You can see that the main image was adhered using red line dimensionals. I like the dimension it gives on the front of the can and I didn't want to have to curl my image to adhere it to the front. The bow, is something I have decided to affectionately refer to as the "Jo Bow". Joanne Basile made a video tutorial on how to accomplish that look. :) You should check it out. :)
