A New Year...

Hi everyone and Happy 2010!  It's a bright new decade, a bright new year and I just KNOW that good things are in store for my family and I, so why not kick-start the year with a BRIGHT card?  I am not sure exactly why I chose these colors.  LOL  I didn't have paper to inspire me... I just sat down and colored and somewhere along the way I ended up with Raspberry Fizz, Pumpkin Pie and Aqua Mist. 

The sketch for this card came from Mercy.  I stamped the Pure Innocence, Heart Stripes girl, in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored her with Copic markers.  Each panel was stitched and then I placed a Baby Braddie in each corner.  I used a fun Prima burlap flower as my accent and stamped "Best Friends" along the lower panel using Raspberry Fizz ink.

I finished off the inside as well and tried to pull in some of the color blocking feel.  I also stamped the image in Versamark on the largest panel and stamped another sentiment from the set inside.

This past year has been a great one for me in my stamping life.  I continue to serve on the MFT design team and I SO enjoy it.  I have made some of the BEST friends ever being on the team!  The camaraderie, support and friendship have been such a big part of my life and I want to thank everyone one of you that I have served with!
