Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #114

Hi all and happy Friday! I had some fun this past weekend with my Papertrey Ink stamps and Taylor's sketch challenge. You can view the sketch and play along HERE.

For my first card, I used Scattered Showers and Scattered Showers Additions along with some My Mind's Eye So Sophie patterned paper. You'll have to forgive my obsessive efficient use of patterned paper. I am on a mission to use every almost every piece of a patterned paper collection before moving on to the next. When I don't have any pieces left that are at least 5 X 5... I toss the remainder in a box of scraps I am saving (I don't know WHY I am saving them, but I am guessing SOMEONE will want them). So there you have it. All I'm saying... is I HOPE you like MME So Sophie as much as I do. You'll be seeing it around here pretty often over the next couple weeks. LOL Wow... I went off on a tangent, huh? Moving on...

I loved the sketch so much, that I decided to make another card using it.  I'll give myself 5 lashes with a wet noodle for leaving out the trio of embellishments on the lower, right-hand side of the circle panel.  I just wasn't feeling it, so I added a line of stitches and "framed" it with a couple brads.  Call me a rebel. LOL

I used another Papertrey Ink set, Life.  I love how it looks like canvas.  The textured paper really gave it a fun look with the solid stamps and chalk inks.

I hate it when you're sad
