Happy Birthday Bear

This card uses the recently released Fred Bear and the Butterfly stamp set.  I used a couple fun techniques for this card.  First, I used Copic marker blender refill to create texture on Fred Bear.  Some people use a dish rag or cloth.  Me?  In true ribbon addict fashion, I grabbed a piece of twill ribbon.  :)  That gave Fred bear a nice twill pattern to his fur.  :)
  1. Snip off a piece of twill
  2. Squirt a little Copic blender refill on it (not too much)
  3. Dab it on Fred bear, making sure that the ribbon touches all the colored parts of Fred bear
Some don'ts:
  1. Don't add too much blender, or you'll bleach out your image too much (or your ink will run)
  2. Don't use this technique on a fully colored image with multiple parts that you DON'T want texturized.  For instance, if you want to add texture to a pair of pants, color only the pants, then use this technique, make sure it's dry, and then color the rest of the image
  3. Don't use a paper that is prone to smearing with Copics.  The blender will likely saturate your paper and you want to make sure your stamped lines don't run.  I use Papertrey white when using this technique.
Be creative.  Look around and find things with a nice texture that you can try out.  Once, I used the drawstring on the hoodie I was wearing.  LOL

I used the negative space from the Fresh Cut Grass Die-namics and sponged on ink to create my grass.  I used two different colors of green to add depth and dimension.
