Pure Innocence in Pajamas (X2)

Hi everyone and thanks for visiting today.  First, I have to thank you for all the kind comments you all have left on my creations for the past 2 days (and all the days before that).  You ALL are SO kind and really make me smile.  I am so appreciative that you take the time to comment, so THANK YOU. :)

OK, now let's get back to business... ;)  Today is day 3 (of 5) of MFT Teaser Time and it's Pure Innocence Day!  *YAY*  The 3 Pure Innocence stamp sets are sooooooooooooo cute this month (well, they are always cute, but these are sooooooooo cute).  I have used 2 of the 3 sets for today's teaser post.  The 3 sets being released on November 3rd are:
  • Making a List
  • Bedtime Story (I used this one)
  • Naptime (I used this one)
I see a theme here... apparently I like the thought of taking a nap.  LOL  (subconscious maybe)

My first card uses Pure Innocence Bedtime Story.

I double-stitched the little sentiment flag on the main panel.

I know I have mentioned this before, but Die-namics dies + felt = LOVE.  Look at all that texture and yumminess!  LOVE it.  You can't do that with punches... It's no wonder I have been collecting MFT's felt at a hoarder's pace.  Seriously.  I think Kim can vouch for me on that one!  LOL  This is the new Little Open Scallop Strip.

Here is a peek inside.  That sentiment is TOO CUTE.

My next card continues the pajama theme and uses Pure Innocence Naptime.  Oh how I remember my little ones in pajamas with little feetsies (a Mommy's word for cute feet).  *sigh*  And look at that blankie!  *awwwwww*

I made the bow "in the air" and messed with it until I had it just the way I wanted it.  It is adhered with red line tape.

I added random stitching here and there.  It's a trick Michele Boyer uses, and I borrowed it.  Usually I am "stitch happy" and go all the way around, but again... what good is a "rule" if you can't break it every now and then?

And just in case you forgot... Die-namics + MFT felt = YUM YUM.  I *am* good at math.  LOL

OK, that's it for me today.  :)

Let me cap this off with the details for the release this week.  Remember to mark your calendars!

Here are some details about the upcoming release on November 3rd at 10 PM EST:

  7. I always love the way you layer your cards plus all that stitching. I use to do the messy and mixed up stitching on my scrapbook layouts - never do it on my cards though....hmmm, need to rethink that. Both of these images are just complete cuteness and you colored them up so prettily.
