Wednesday Stamp Club - Nine is Divine

Howdy and thanks for stopping by, partner!  I am back with a MFT Wednesday Stamp Club card that is full of FLAIR. ;)  Fred Bear Out West is outfitted with a rich hat complete with denim band and organza rose (cut from Maya Road ribbon), sparkly sherrif's star (Spica glitter pen), and fabric boots with sparkly spurs.  Add to this, his crystal "lasso" (Prima pewter crystal flourish).  Fred Bear cannot be out-done in the wardrobe department, THAT is for sure.  *wink*

I added some Sakura Glaze Pen to Fred's nose.

The sentiment flag was stitched on and the main image panel was also stitched in a perfect circle.  Want to see how?

Die-cut your image using Nestabilities.  Before you remove the paper from the die, use it as a stencil to draw a circle in pencil around the inside of the circle.  Lline up your needle with the pencil line and using the knob on the side of your machine, follow the line all the way around the circle.  Do not use your foot pedal.  It will move too fast for you to follow the line properly.

Here is the sketch for you.  I hope you'll play along.  :)

Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Blog and the MFT forum on SCS (look for the most recent WSC thread).  You'll need to upload your card in the SCS gallery using the keyword shown on the sketch. You will have the chance to win up to $20 in MFT money. One winner is chosen at random each week!

Go get sketchy with MFT!

  6. Great card, love the boots. I never thought of just hand turning on the sewing machine, it would take longer but it would be straighter and worth the extra time it took. thanks.
