One Lives... 2011 Graduation

Hi everyone!  It's Wednesday Stamp Club #19 and I created a graduation card for the daughter of a friend of mine who is graduating from high school this year.  (eeeek)

I used the Own Your Story stamp set (which I LOVE stamping with), Four Point Frame Die-namics (which comes with the Own Your Story stamp set), Fishtail Banner (LOVE it... so much so that I have FIVE of them - true story), and Typewriter Alphabet.

I used different elements from the Own Your Story stamp set to decorate my focal panel.

I used the Typerwriter Alphabet stamp set to stamp out the 2011 banner. I added eyelets to each banner and threaded them with green twine.

I'm in love with the new zipper trim by Maya Road.  FUN!

Here is the sketch for you.  I hope you'll play along.  :)

Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Blog and the MFT forum on SCS (look for the most recent WSC thread).  You'll need to upload your card in the SCS gallery using the keyword shown on the sketch. You will have the chance to win up to $20 in MFT money. One winner is chosen at random each week!

Go get sketchy with MFT!

  3. Five Fish Tail Banner dies?! Please explain! Do you not want to have to run it through the die cutting machine over and over again? I could see that... but FIVE?! ;) This is gorgeous -- LOVE the green & purple together. And you're going to have a graduate soon, aren't you? Hard to believe... Started crying last night (out of nowhere; I think I was brushing my teeth?) thinking about Truman starting high school next year. Can you imagine what kind of WRECK I'm going to be his senior year?! Okay. Ending longest comment ever now... have a wonderful day! :)
