A Family is a Gift

All the new products you've seen over the past 7 days are available NOW in the MFT Boutique!

Welcome to the MFT New Product Tour!  New Product Tour = "Blog Hop" without the hopping.  LOL  You'll find a complete list of all the new products and the designers who made inspiring samples with them on the MFT blog.  Click through at your leisure and be taken on a tour of all that is NEW at MFT.

I used Clearly Sentimental about Family for my card tonight.  There is so much to love about this set, but I especially appreciate being able to stamp the word "family" in the sentiment in a different color without any of the fuss of "selective inking".

The larger portion of the sentiment was stamped in Brilliance Graphite Black pigment ink, and then clear embossed.  I stamped the word "family" in with green chalk ink.  I drew a light pencil-line just inside the edge of the oval and then stitched along it with my machine one stitch at a time using the wheel on the the side of the machine.  NOT the easiest thing to do, but SO worth the effort.  I used the previously released Layered Label Die-namics die set.  The sentiment layer was stitched on to the back layer.

I decided to back the entire Layered Label with the Oval Decorative Doily.  I love the detail and touch of class that it adds, and they fit together very nicely.  SCORE!  LOL  You can see I tucked some bling behind the sentiment layer.

I added the new Postage Stamp Border Die-namics along the bottom of the card to pull in a little more of the Kiwi Kiss card stock that I used on the Oval Decorative Doily.

The patterned paper I used is from Pink Paislee, by the way.  It is actually Halloween themed, but I LOVED the bright green patterns!

Thanks for joining me for this month's New Product Tour.
There are a couple on-going specials you can take advantage of tonight (and ANY time)!

The Cherry on Top reward awards you with a discount code good for $15 off your order when you place an order of $150 or more.  The code will pop up on your screen once you have earned it.  Just jot down the code and enter in the coupon code box in your shopping cart.

The Triple Scoop Special earns you the current Triple Scoop Stamp Set, which for October is Clearly Sentimental about Abundance.  It is FREE for orders over $60.  Once you have earned it, a box will pop up and you just need to follow the directions to add it to your cart.  HERE it is on the site!

I also wanted to mention that in honor of the fight against cancer, MFT has pledged a $1500 donation to MD Anderson.  There is a thread on splitcoaststampers that explains what ELSE MFT is doing and I hope you'll check that out HERE.

Don't forget to head over to Kim's blog so you can see what the rest of the team has in store for you.

Thanks for stopping by today!  I'll see you tomorrow for Wednesday Stamp Club.
