Two Sketches and Two Chances to WIN!

Hi all and thanks for stopping by today!  I have a couple cards to share using MFT Sketches.  The first one uses the sketch for this month's Guest Designer Contest.  Did you know the winner receives WELL over $200 in MFT products?  AND gets to participate with the team using brand new stamps the following month?  It's totally worth playing for!  Here is my card using the sketch and I'll share the sketch below so you can play along.  Head over to the MFT forum on SCS to enter your card and read more details HERE

I used the always gorgeous Botanical Beauty Die-namics for my flower.  I don't think I'll ever tire of this flower... LOL

I used the à la modes Lightbulb Moment stamp set.  She is colored with a combination of Copic markers and Prismacolor Pencils.  I added some Sakura clear glaze pen on the "white spots" on the light bulb.  I drew in the "threads" on the base of the lightbulb.  I drew in some "rays" coming off the club and then blended them out.

The sentiment was stamped on the Mini File Tab Die-namics.

Here is the sketch so you can play along.  Head over to the SCS Gallery and upload your card using the keyword MFTGUESTDT0612 to be entered to win.

I love stamping for MFT Wednesday Stamp Club #74!  It helps me build my card stash and I love starting with a blueprint.

I have a SUPER simple card for you today using Vertical Greetings II Die-namics and Stamp Set.  I kept the stamping and embellishments to a minimum, and I didn't even stitch on it!  The muted color palette lends itself to a soft look, so I rolled with it...

I added a circle from Circle STAX Set 1 and then pierced holes along the outer edge of it.  I added a strip of Simply Scallops along the bottom, cut from Kraft card stock.  Some mellow Whip Cream Ribbon along the bottom added a little something, without detracting from the soft colors of the card.  I added 2 pale yellow brads to the top corners.

Adding a little dimension can help to add pizazz to your card without overdoing the elements.

Here are the Die-namics I used on my card today:

Here is the sketch for you.  I hope you'll play along.  :)

Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Blog and the MFT forum on SCS (look for the most recent WSC thread).  You'll need to upload your card in the SCS gallery using the keyword shown on the sketch. You will have the chance to win up to $20 in MFT money. One winner is chosen at random each week!

Go get sketchy with MFT!
