Complimentary Greetings

Hi all and welcome to the MFT New Product Tour, where you'll get a look at ALL the new stamp sets one more time.  You can solidify your wish list and head over to the MFT Boutique to SHOP SHOP SHOP.  All the new products are available NOW, right HERE.

Be sure to leave comments on all the Design Team Members' blogs tonight.  There is a $50 Gift Certificate up for grabs and it will go to ONE lucky winner, chosen at random.  The deadline for comments is end of day on June 7 and the winner will be chosen on June 8.  Check out the MFT forum for the announcement.

This month's Triple Scoop Stamp Set is Complimentary Greetings.  You can earn the current Triple Scoop Set for FREE each month with an order of $60 or more, but you MUST add it to your cart.  Read all about it HERE.  If you miss out on earning it for free, no problem... you can purchase it the following month.

The BIG BOLD sentiments are SO fun to work with.  They pack and punch and give you a chance to jazz it up with plenty of Die-namics and embellishments!  I made FIVE cards with this amazing set.

I jazzed up the card with a plethora of Fishtail Flag STAX cut from coordinating card stock and patterned paper.

I made another small embellishment with a short segment from the Fishtail Flag, a small Circle STAX die-cut, and a twine-threaded wooden flower button.

The sentiment was stamped on a Circle STAX die-cut and was matted in the same color.  I cut segments of a patterned paper circle to stitch along the top and bottom of the sentiment to jazz up the panel.  I then stitched all the way around, one stitch at a time.

I went for a cleaner look on this card, but incorporated many of the same colors.  You'll notice I skipped the stitching on this one.  (gasp)

I added one of the larger Fishtail Flag STAX as an accent to balance out the card.  It was looking a little plain, so I added a row of piercing.

I used Basic Grey's What's Up? Patterned Paper Collection for my card.  The sentiment is stamped on a ledger pattern.  I also stamped a single word from another stamp, happy, on a Mini File Tab.  To stamp it more easily I cut t apart from the sentiment, but can't easy piece it back together on my acrylic block next time I want to use the entire sentiment.

I embellished with the adorable Mini Royal Roses and paired them with Royal Leaves

I had to make one more card with the sentiment stamped on the ledger patterned paper.  What can I say?  Sometimes I get stuck on something and just have to do it again.  :)  I changed things up a bit with a different layout and embellishments.

I stamped the bold sentiment on patterned paper with Brilliance Graphite Black ink.

The floral embellishment was created with Botanical BeautyLeafy FlourishUpsy Daisy (leaf), a tiny punched circle, and a vanilla colored Swarovski Crystal.

I tucked in a Fishtail Flag STAX to break up the busy pattern I stamped the sentiment on.

I didn't get enough of the Hexagon Die-namics, so I decided to pair it with Complimentary Greetings and covered an entire panel with hexagons as a backdrop for the bold sentiment.  I kept the "other stuff" to a minimum, but opted for a Large Leafy Flourish cut from white card stock.

I paired the awesome Complimentary Greetings Stamp Set with the new Designer Label 2 STAX and Hibiscus for the next two cards.  I used bright colors and black ink for a bold contrast.

The Hibiscus is a "tab flower" like Prima Donna Petals Die-namics and Fringed Perennial Die-namics.  The tabs provide dimension without much effort.  I LOVE the leaf and center that comes with the Hibiscus.  They are SO cool!  There is emboss detail on both the flower petals and leaf.

The sentiment was stamped on the Designer Label 2.

I made another card with the same stamp set, Die-namics, and patterned paper pack, but chose a color palette of red, yellow, and blue.

Isn't that wavy center so cool?

Here are the new dies I used on my cards:

It's time to head over to the MFT Blog to see what the rest of the team is up to.  Be sure to check out all the designers' creations to get one last look at every stamp set releasing tonight.
