I Knew I Liked You...

Hi all and thanks for stopping by!  I have a super quick and easy card for this week's MFT Wednesday Stamp Club #109 using the current Triple Scoop stamp set, You Make My Day.

This layout lends itself to quick and easy cards featuring a sentiment as the focal point.

I stamped the sentiment in Black Licorice on a Fishtail Flag cut from Kraft Card Stock.  A Jumbo Squiggle Border was used as a bold element in a bright yellow "patterned paper".

I finished off the inside with another sentiment from the set and some coordinating details.

Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Blog and the MFT forum on SCS (look for the most recent WSC thread).  You'll need to upload your card in the SCS gallery using the keyword shown on the sketch. You will have the chance to win up to $20 in MFT money. One winner is chosen at random each week!

Go get sketchy with MFT!

  3. Hi Jody,
Love your card with that bright spot of yellow and that awesome sentiment. I followed this sketch today and am slowly starting to understand splitcoast's website....I think I am gallery and forum challenged...LOL!!!! Loving all the sneaky peaks! Any chance of a teeny tiny heart border die in the future? I really wanted one today when making my card! It could layer over the scalloped ribbon border and many others. Just an idea! I also make cards for cancer and am wondering if it is possible to make a cancer ribbon border die somehow? Loving all the Feb teasers...
    Thanks for all you do!
    :) Jill
