Rock

Hello!  Today is day 2 of MFT Teaser Time and we are rocking to Laina Lamb's new stamp sets: Playlist and Rock On.

I created a couple quick and easy cards using lots of "white space" and a couple bold colors.

Up first is this bold creation using the new Accent It - Cassette Tape Die-namics and Journal It - Playlist stamp set.  I also used the previously released Right This Way stamp set to add some arrow accents in Electric Red Premium Dye Ink.

I stamped on the new Smooth White Card Stock, which provides for GREAT coverage of solid stamps using MFT's Premium Dye Inks.

I sandwiched two cassette tape die-cuts together to make it more dimensional/realistic.

I used the Playlist stamp set to stamp the detail on the tape.  It's hard to tell in the picture but I added a tiny piece of acetate behind the rectangular window.  Confession: I had a nice collection of cassette tapes in my "youth".  :)

Here is another quick and easy card.  I "stretched my ink pads" by stamping with a fully inked stamp and then stamping again for varied shades of the same color (with both Grape Jelly and Black Licorice).  I used Darling Dots to add a strip of dots along the card base (with a "stamped off" image).

Here are the Brand Spankin' New products I used in my post today:
