Chalkboard Frame Builder - New MFT Products Available NOW!

Hello all and thank you for stopping by. Today the MFT Design Team is taking you on a tour of all the new products available NOW, right HERE.  Go SHOP SHOP SHOP for all the amazing new products.  :)

I am SO excited about the new Chalkboard Frame Builder.  It is SO cool.  It comes with seven segments of "frame" and you can use the pieces you want to create a frame *just* the right size for what you need!  LOVE!

I am kicking things off today with a GORGEOUS new stamp set by Lisa JohnsonBlissful Butterflies. Ever since I saw the stamp set I had envisioned recreating a framed butterfly display and the new Chalkboard Frame Builder was *just* what I needed.

The frame is hung on a "wood panel" wall I created by embossing the wood planks from Western Backgrounds on Kraft, in white.  The frame was created with 4 frame segments from Chalkboard Frame Builder in Smooth White Card Stock.

I added the appearance of it being mounted on a canvas by adding a piece of sticky-back canvas from Claudine Hellmuth to my card stock.

Concealed behind the canvas is a piece of CORK so I could literally "pin" the butterfly in place with a tiny sequin pin.

The frame was "hung" from a "nail" (aka silver brad) using a piece of Hemp Cord.

Inside, I added a sentiment from the set along with a stamped solid butterfly, also from the set.

I got creative with the new Abstract Art stamp set and created an easel to display a work of art.

The paint strokes and splatters were stamped in Grapesicle, Sour Apple, and Sno Cone.  I stamped HI using Laina Lamb's new Max Alphabet in Top Boss and embossed in gold.  The art was framed using Chalkboard Frame Builder.  I love the perfectly-mitered corners.

I added a paint brush in the "tray" on the easel.

I layered several pieces of paper together for the top and base of the easel.

This shot shows the dimension of the card.

Here is a colorful card using the new Abstract Art stamp set and the new Paint Brushes Die-namics.

I stamped the paint strokes in 7 different colors (listed below in the supplies graphic).  The sentiment is from Clearly Sentimental about Art, which is a MUST HAVE with this set.  They go together so perfectly.

The Paint Brush Die-namics was cut from Steel GreySmooth White, and Kraft, and I assembled the pieces together after "dipping"/dragging the bristles over the Lemon Drop ink pad.  I added a white eyelet

It was framed using the new Chalkboard Frame Builder Die-namics and Smooth White Card Stock. I selected the pieces that framed the paint strokes *just* right.

I just love all those colors together.  :)
