MFT Color Palette Challenge

Hi all! I was feeling crafty today and played along with MFT's new Color Palette Challenge. It is a monthly challenge and one lucky entrant will win a $20 voucher to mftstamps.com. Head on over and play along!

The first colors are very appropriately pink, black, and white, MFT's signature colors! Here is my pink and black creation using Mona Pendleton's recently released Distressed Hearts stamp set and Die-namics.

On the back layer I stamped the Woodgrain Background in Versamark and added a few "paint splotches" with Sweet Tooth ink. On the lower section I stamped Typewriter Text Background in Sweet Tooth ink.  The sentiment was stamped with Brilliance Graphite Black and the focal image was stamped with Pink Lemonade and Brilliance Graphite Black.

Some random "paint splotches" in Sweet Tooth add a little interest to the background.

I popped up the ring to add some dimension. I used the Circle Shaker Set, which made adhering a breeze.

On the black heart, I added a couple 3 mm Swarovski crystals.

I continued the colors and style inside.

Be sure to head over to the MFT Blog to add your creation and check out all the designer and customer submissions. There are a ton for your viewing pleasure!
