Spooky Sweets & Spattered Background

Hello there and thank you for stopping by today. Today is the first day of the MFT August Release Countdown. Only 5 days until the new release (yay)! Be sure to head over to the MFT Blog for full set and die reveals for the day. This release is packed full of gorgeous new products that I have SO enjoyed creating with.

My first card today features the new Spooky Sweets stamp set and Die-namics. I created a night scene with the adorable elements in the set. The background was sponged and I used a Kirirana pen to make the stars in the sky.

Up next is this color(burst)ful card that I created using a cool mix of color burst colors. The sentiment, from Essential Sentiments, was stamped on the Essential Cover-Up Vertical die cut, which was popped up over the background. I tried a zillion (or 5) things within the voids of the frame, but I opted not to cover up the cool background. :)

These products and many more will be available for purchase in just 5 days, on August 2 at 10 PM EST.  Be sure to check out the MFT Blog to see what the rest of the team has come up with today.

  1. Wow! The second card looks like a star spangled sky! Love both the cards. The bats on the first one are really cute. And the Essential Sentiments set is a perfect match with any style of cards!

  12. Both cards are great! I agree, it really is too difficult to cover up that beautiful Color Burst background. Nice job! It's hard not to have too heavy a hand with that. Nicely done!
