Thinking Pink

Yes, pink is my favorite color, but it is also a color that represents breast cancer awareness. This is a disease that plagues many men and women around the world. It has recently plagued my very own family this year. My mother in law, Cindy was diagnosed this year and has been undergoing treatment during the past few months.

When my SCS friend, Joanne Basile e-mailed asking for some help for a friend with an upcoming Avon Walk for Breast Cancer I knew I had to be a part of it.

Joanne over at http://stampedbyhand.blogspot.com/2007/04/fundraiser-blog-candy.html is helping her friend raise money for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer on May 19th & 20th in Boston. She is accumulating some fabulous donations to give away as blog candy and all you have to do to be entered is make a donation. For more information, please check out this post http://stampedbyhand.blogspot.com/2007/04/fundraiser-blog-candy.html . Thanks for supporting a great cause!

I will be donating an entire roll of pink square stitched ribbon from May Arts. The roll has 50 yards on it! WOOHOO! I hope you all donate for your chance to win one of the fabulous prizes and help out a good cause all in one! :)

  2. Jody,

Thank you so much for your contribution to the fundraiser! It really has been amazing how willing everyone has been to support this.

I'm so sorry that your mother in law has been affected by this terrible disease. I'll keep your family in my prayers.
