I just love this sentiment. I got it recently from a friend of mine. :) She knows how much I love Penny Black sentiments. I whipped out one of my neglected Penny Black flowers and colored the image with my Peerless Water Colors. I went for a washed out, "out of the lines" look. For the record, I did it on purpose. LOL I left some white space and did some highlighting with the same color of Peerless in a stronger mix.
I used my air art tool from SU to make some grey spatters around the flowers. For the record: NOT to cover up anything... just because. LOL
I kept the layout and background pretty simple. With all the speckles and spatters, I wanted to make the rest of the card low key. I finished it off with some black brads and fun, yellow, polka-dotted May Arts ribbon.
Stamps: Penny black flowers and sentiments, CHF BG
Ink: white craft, stazon black
Paper: white, black, tempting turquoise, Fabriano watercolor paper
Accessories: black brads, Janome sew mini, yellow may arts ribbon, red line dimensionals, Peerless water colors, palette, waterbrush, air art tool, gray marker
