You A-mews Me

Hello there!  It's time for another MFT Wednesday Stamp Club!  We are on sketch #77.  You can click on over to the MFT Blog to see what the rest of the participating designers came up with using the sketch.

I whipped out a stamp set I hadn't used yet, You A-Mews Me.  I just love the little kid in the kitty cat costume.  I paired it with some new(ish) Simple Stories patterned paper (Summer Fresh).  I incorporated lots of Kraft card stock to keep the homespun feel of the patterned paper.

The image was colored with a mix of Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils. The cheeks were colored with red chalk (a trick I learned from Inge).  I drew in the grass with Prismacolor pencils.

The sentiment was stamped on a die-cut from First Place Award Ribbon.   The bow was made using Wild Cherry Ribbon.

Here is the sketch for you.  I hope you'll play along.  :)

Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Blog and the MFT forum on SCS (look for the most recent WSC thread).  You'll need to upload your card in the SCS gallery using the keyword shown on the sketch. You will have the chance to win up to $20 in MFT money. One winner is chosen at random each week!

Go get sketchy with MFT!
