Embossed Houndstooth Stencil - Video Tutorial

Hi all!  If you've been wishing for MFT Teaser Time to start, you are in luck!  Today marks the start of seven days full of everything NEW.  New stamp sets, Die-namics, inks, and STENCILS.  Watch for all of the full stamp set and die reveals over on the MFT Blog from today through September 3rd.

I am kicking things off with a card made using Lisa Johnson's Fall Foliage stamp set and Die-namics and the fabulous new Houndstooth Stencil.  I am LOVING the stencil and am SO excited about the possibilities with it NOT using ink, paint, spray etc.  Stencils are for EVERYONE!  Check out my video HERE (or by clicking the play button below).  I show you how to emboss with the Houndstooth Stencil.

Here is the card I created with a piece of embossed Smooth White Card Stock, created with the Houndstooth Stencil.  The leaf is stamped in Tangy Orange and is mounted on a Pierced Circle STAX cut from a piece of Fuse Green Card Stock.

These products and many more will be available for purchase on September 3 at 10 PM EST.  Be sure to check out the MFT Blog to see what the rest of the team has come up with today.

  5. That is friggen cool!! I never would have thought to try that - and I LOVE that it would be shallower than an embossing folder (one of my peeve's - I find them too "deep" sometimes for cards...).

It's lovely Jody; and I'm not just saying that because I love everything or you do, nor am I just saying it because I'm a sucker for all thing autumn; I really mean it! :) XOXO.
