I have a couple cards to share with you today using more of the brand new products from My Favorite Things. I couldn't get enough of the Happy Die-namics, so I made a couple more cards using that die set for today's post. I started by adhering 3/8" strips of card stock to an Adhesive Sheet, and then die cutting the words. This left me 2 different words, with 4 colors each, sharing the color Sour Apple. I decided to take each one individually and create a card using only those four colors.
Up first is this birthday card that includes plenty of Sour Apple polka dots from Darling Dots. I added a stamped sentiment from Happy Everything on a Fishtail Flag and accented with stars from Blueprints 17. The bow is from Beautiful Bows.
Stamps: Darling Dots, Happy Everything
Die-namics: Happy, Blueprints 17, Fishtail Flag STAX, Beautiful Bows
Card Stock: Smooth White, Red Hot, Orange Fizz, Lemon Drop, Sour Apple
Ink: Sour Apple, Orange Fizz, Lemon Drop (all Premium Dye Inks)
Supplies: Adhesive Sheet
Up next is this card that features a diagonal break that has been misted with Sheer Shimmer Mist and Premium Dye Ink Refills in coordinating colors. The mist muted the colors a bit, so to bring back in the Grape Jelly, I also splattered the area with Grape Jelly refill mixed with water. It added some intense dots. The banner was created with pieces from Blueprints 16. I adhered them lightly with glue and then stitched across the tops to anchor them. The single star is from Blueprints 17.
Die-namics: Happy, Blueprints 17, Blueprints 16
Card Stock: Smooth White, Sour Apple, Sno Cone, Nightshift Blue, Grape Jelly
Ink: Sour Apple, Sno Cone, Grape Jelly (all Premium Dye Ink Refills)
Supplies: Adhesive Sheet, Sheer Shimmer Mist
