To a Brrr-fect Friend

Hello all and thank you so much for stopping by today. I am super excited to be participating in today's MFT DT Challenge: Release Replay.

I grabbed the ADORABLE Polar Pals stamp set and Die-namics and created a sweet scene with the polar bear, penguin, and ice plank. The background was sponged and stamped with the simple snowflake. I added a piece of vellum to add a softness in the "water" that the ice plank is floating on.

Be sure to head back over to the MFT Blog to see what the rest of the team has come up with using the Brand-Spankin' New products!

My cards use the new Cross-Stitch Tag Die-namics. I used a couple patterns (you can download them and use them, too), and made multi-colored snowflakes. The tags were decorated with card stock, and adorned with embossed sentiments and RIBBON (it's been a while since I pulled that out)! I just LOVE creating tags with this new die!

Cross-Stitch on Kraft

Hello there and thank you for stopping by today. Today is the fourth day of the MFT Release Countdown. Only 2 days until the new release (yay)! Be sure to head over to the MFT Blog for full set and die reveals for the day. This release is packed full of gorgeous new products.

My card today features the new Cross-Stitch Tag Die-namics. I have to say — I LOVE this die! It has been so fun to do something a little different. I can sit and watch TV and stitch away with my pattern, Ott light, and a warm blanket (or puppy to snuggle with). I found it so therapeutic! I think a tag like this just ADDS to the gift itself. I created 3 tags, each with Kraft and white floss. I embellished each tag at the top and bottom, and added a sentiment and ribbon to each one. See the curled hemp? I used a fun trick to get it that way! I taped the end on a metal paper piercer, wrapped it tightly around the barrel of the paper piercer, sprayed it with hairspray, and heated it with my heat gun. Such a cute look!

You can find these patterns and many more on the MFT Blog under Printable Resources (in the sidebar).

These products and much more will be available for purchase on October 3 at 9 PM EDT.  Be sure to check out the MFT Blog to see what the rest of the team has come up with today.

My card today features the new Snow Globe Sentiments, Snow Globe, and Scenic Snow Globe. I cannot tell you how much I LOVE these products. It is SO fun to create adorable snow globes. I used a similar color palette for both and used different layouts. For the snowman card, I created a dimensional scene and skipped the Snow Globe Shaker Pouch. For the house card, I used the amazing Diamond Dust for snow and created a snowy scene.

These products and much more will be available for purchase in just 3 days, on October 3 at 9 PM EDT.  Be sure to check out the MFT Blog to see what the rest of the team has come up with today.

Double the Smiles - Hits & Highlights

Hello, all! It's time for the second Hits & Highlights designer challenge being hosted on the My Favorite Things Blog

If you’re building a supply of stamps and Die-namics, or simply looking to add even more versatility to your existing collection, our line of essentials is the perfect place to start. This line features a sentiment for every occasion in an enviable mix of classic greetings and unique, smile-inducing phrases. A clean font in a compact but legible size allows you to combine the phrases with existing sets in your collection and pairs perfectly with our essential Die-namics — Cover-Ups and sentiment strips designed to spotlight your sentiments to perfection.

I opted to use All Smiles, which has some great essential sentiments in it! For the "follow-up" portion of my sentiments, I stamped one on an Essential Fishtail Sentiment Strip, and the other on the Slanted Sentiment Strip, which accommodates all the sentiments in the "essential" line.

I stamped one 5.5" X 4/25" panel with the gorgeous Rustic Wildflowers stamp set and cut it in half to create 2 unique cards!

Card 1:
Stamps: All Smiles, Rustic Wildflowers
Die-namics: Blueprints 24, Slanted Sentiment Strips
Ink: Poppy, Wild Cherry, Sour Apple, Jellybean Green, Peach Bellini, Coral Crush, Orange Fizz, Orange Zest, Persimmon, Lemon Chiffon, Daffodil, Brilliance Graphite Black
Patterned Paper: Proper Pinstripes Pastels

Card 2:
Stamps: All Smiles, Rustic Wildflowers
Die-namics: Blueprints 24, Essential Fishtail Sentiment Strips
Ink: Poppy, Wild Cherry, Sour Apple, Jellybean Green, Peach Bellini, Coral Crush, Orange Fizz, Orange Zest, Persimmon, Lemon Chiffon, Daffodil, Brilliance Graphite Black

Christmas Greetings Snow Globe

Hello all and thank you for stopping by. Today the MFT Design Team is showing you all the possibilities with the Snow Globe Card Kit - available right now, right HERE. It's time for the New Release Kit Launch! Shop ASAP. I don't want you to miss out! :)

Be sure to comment on all the designers' blog posts tonight for YOUR chance to win a Gift Voucher as part of tonight’s New Kit Launch celebration!

My card today features the amazing snowman from the Scenic Snow Globe Die-namics. I just love building snowmen. I added 3 trees to the scene, and filled the shaker pouch with Diamond Dust. Tip: wipe the inside and outside of your pouch with a dryer sheet to prevent static. I used the Snowfall Background to emboss snow on the back layer of my card. Tip: To have the snowman's scarf line up properly using patterned paper, cut it three times with the pattern "straight" on each straight edge, then layer and dissect as needed.

Here is one more look at the 3 cards I created using the Snow Globe Card Kit.

Be sure to head back over to the MFT Blog to see what the rest of the team has come up with using the new card kit!

For my card today, I chose the house die cut and created a chilly winter scene complete with trees and Diamond Dust. I even scored the house to make it look like a log cabin in the woods.

Season's Greetings Snow Globe

Hello there and thank you for stopping by today. It is the first day of the new MFT Snow Globe Card Kit Countdown! This month's kit features a super cool concept - a snow globe, complete with shaker pouches to fit! There are so many fun parts and pieces to allow you maximum creativity!

My card today uses the Snow Globe die, which I used to create a window in my card panel. I used the Scenic Snow Globe die to build my adorable snowman, and the sentiment is from Snow Globe Sentiments. I used the Snowfall Background embossed in white as the backdrop to my snow globe window. Some Tiny Check Patterned Paper and Hemp Cord bow finished it off! :)
